Our Mission
At SAFR, our mission is to identify human remains in post-conflict and mass-displacement environments using advanced forensic methods. We are committed to bringing dignity, truth, and closure to families who have lost loved ones under difficult and uncertain circumstances.
We believe that every person deserves to be known, remembered, and honored — even after death. Through scientific identification, we work to restore identity to the missing and provide reliable answers to their families who have suffered in silence.
Our field teams follow strict protocols to:
Handle the remains with respect and care
Document all findings through detailed data collection and photography
Code and label each set of remains for accurate tracking
Isolate samples for laboratory analysis
Avoid mutilation or unnecessary damage to the remains
Preserve the remains properly
Deliver them to the appropriate authorities with full documentation
In addition to forensic work, SAFR offers humanitarian support , psychological care , and legal guidance to help families cope with loss, seek justice, and reclaim their right to memory and mourning.
Our mission is grounded in the belief that every individual deserves dignity in life and in death. By supporting affected families and communities, SAFR contributes to healing, truth, and long-term peace.

Our Vision
A world where every missing person is identified, every family receives closure, and dignity is restored through truth and science, even in the aftermath of conflict and displacement
